Who is Noah?

Yes I know, it looks super dramatic, but in all honesty, I see myself as a funny, friendly, and laidback chap. I love graphic design, and I want to do something meaningful with it.

My Process

Here is an overview of my process, even though it seems linear trust me it is not.

Define
The first step is to define what the problem is, this entails going over the details in the brief. By doing so I have a guideline throughout the project, that I can go back to to make sure I am on target.
Research
This is where I gather information on the problem that the client needs to solve. I find information on competitors in the same field and gather information about our target group. I choose the media on which the target group is mostly available and try to find an interesting angle to engage them.
Ideation
This is where the creativity begins. I start by brainstorming on the back of my research, and expand on that interesting angle from my research. I also have the opportunity to play around with crazy ideas, and still keep everything open. By the end of this step, I have found a concept I can use going forward.
Solution
In this step ideas come to life, this is where I actually start designing. I like to start out with pen and paper, as it is a fast way to try out ideas. Even though I am going with only one idea and concept, there are many angels to attack it from. I try to do many different designs and mix and match them. This has proven to be a great way to find something truly unique.
Finalization
This is where everything comes together. I clean up the design and get all the minute details right. I also go back to the very beginning to make sure that the final product does indeed hit the mark. This is the most rewarding part for me, as my design gets to come to life and create value for the client.

Final Product

The final product is a reflection of the initial brief and solves the client's problem. It is delivered to the client in a way that makes it possible for them to take the ball and run.

Coffee is the fuel of every graphic designer
