Cemilies is a flower shop in Nykøbing F. They needed a logo as their business was scaling, and they had no visual identity. They wanted a logo that was organic, boutique, and cozy feeling. They wanted to use green colors and needed a combination mark.
I started by gathering inspiration and looking at their competitors, I wanted a design that would make them easily recognizable from the rest. I wanted to include natural vines and leaves, to give that natural sensation. I wanted to use copper as a tertiary color, as it plays great with the green theme.
The result is a nice logo that invites people from the street into the shop. A vine has been added to the "C" and leaves on top of the "i" instead of dots. The copper daisy icon can be used as a pattern and plays well with the main theme. The secondary color a cream white, feels nonintrusive, and is soft on the eyes. Green as a main color is great, as humans' eyes are naturally drawn towards it. The color gives the eye a place to rest and can be calming.
